with a country heart!  Wynne, Jr. is an executive of a Texas transportation company and Lacey is a corporate attorney in the energy industry.  When Lacey first approached me about designing her wedding invitations, she had a very definite vision of vintage roses for their December wedding.  As beautiful as the original design was, we worked together to create a more refined design to reflect this more formal, black tie event.  Every attention to detail was given to this wedding suite, which included a Save The Date, Invitation, RSVP, Information Card, Rehearsal Dinner Invitations, Wedding Programs, Welcome Bags for all of the out of town guests that included a Welcome Card, Custom Designed Map with local points of interest as well as custom Hanging “Do Not Disturb” Door Tags.

After a lovely wedding ceremony, Wynne, Jr. and Lacey treated their guests to a beautiful reception at the Perot Museum.  Many blessing to you both!

What a great evening shared with good friends and family at a family farm in Shreveport, Louisiana.  The bride pulled off a very lovely outdoor Vintage Chic Farm Wedding in October, complete with a crisp autumn breeze, shrimp po-boys, Zapp’s VooDoo chips, jambalaya with andouille sausage, great beer, wine, cider and dancing until the sun came up.  Cheers to Caitlyn and Tyler!!

Fairy Tales Do Come True

July 22, 2015

I was so incredibly excited to create invitations for two very special people. All the excitement leading up to their special day was electrifying. From the Rehearsal Dinner Celebration to the moment Kelly and Cameron said their I Do’s in front of their friends and family, you could feel the love that brought them together. The Princess got her Prince at a lovely castle and it was nothing short of a Grand Ball Reception that followed.

A Castle Fit for a Princess

January 21, 2015

I was completely over the moon when I was asked to design the wedding invitations for this lovely couple from Raleigh, NC – Everything is set for Summer 2015 and waiting for the “I Do’s” in a castle fit for Cinderella and her Prince. It doesn’t hurt that the Groom to be, looks just like another prince we know; and to top it off, he was born in England. The wedding will be in blush pink, metallic beige, gold and ivory. Enjoy this sneak peak at Kelly and Cameron’s engagement photos.

The Color of My Love

October 31, 2014

…and with this ring ours lives will start, Let nothing keep our love apart. I’ll take your hand in mine, and be together through all time. – David Foster and Arthur Janov
And so this is how their love began, with a tender song of promising love. Keith and Ronda found each other and committed themselves to one another at a beautiful, quaint and intimate service at the Holy Cross Immaculata, at the top of a hill, rich in history, they took their vows, one to the other. Afterwards, their guests were whisked away by private coaches to the Cincinnati Art Museum to enjoy a delicious sit down formal dinner reception, music and dancing the night away. Thank you both for allowing me the opportunity to share in your special day.

Southern Charm

Simple and Sweet. The best way to describe these two beautiful people and their Rustic Farm Wedding. Complete with sweet tea and mason jars, tears, smiles and dancing into the wee hours. It was so much fun helping Jill and Cody make their dreams a reality. The Wedding Invitation is simple and sweet with love birds perched in a tree and an excerpt from Captain Corelli’s Mandolin by Louis de Bernieres “Those that truly love, have roots that grow toward each other underground, and when all the pretty blossoms have fallen from their branches, they find they are one tree and not two”. The program announces “Today I Marry My Best Friend” with the book sealed “Bound with Love”. The ceremony was complete with homemade flags individually hand stamped with “YAY” to celebrate the couple as they went down the aisle as husband and wife.

A Sneak Peek

I couldn’t resist publishing the engagement photo for one of the brides that I am designing for right now.  The wedding is early spring 2012.  Their colors are guava and ivory.  Until I can publish the invitation suite, take a look at their gorgeous engagement photos:

Arredondo-Hilton Wedding

November 3, 2011

Connie and Chris’ wedding took place the first weekend of October.  It was an outdoor wedding and the first cool evening of Fall had arrived.  The Bridesmaids wore chocolate brown and the Bride was in ivory.  The evening was filled with laughter, dancing and the blessings of a bright future for such a lovely couple.  I knew immediately that this particular invitation suite was going to be alot of fun, when I read the draft for the couples Save The Dates.  It read, “They share a mutual love of animals, music and cupcakes…”  How wonderful.  The Save The Date postcards were on metallic opal cardstock with the engagement photo of the couple, vintage designs and Nelly Script.  The wedding invitation was on Venitian Brown and Gold Leaf with custom brown thermography that included an ivory lined envelope.  The result, classic elegance.

When I was asked to do the wedding invitations for this wedding, I knew it would be exciting.  The wedding was held on the beautiful island of St. Kitts under a flaming red Royal Poinciana tree.  The bride and groom loved the idea of using old vintage maps of the West Indies and palm trees as their theme.  So, that’s exactly what I gave them.  Everything was printed on Crane white pearl using a custom font and color thermography.  The invitation included a weekend itinerary and RSVP in a beautiful metallic sapphire blue pocketfold with metallic bronze backing.  The pocketfold included a custom bellybelt and wax stamp with palm trees. This beautiful invitation wouldn’t have been complete without the custom postage stamp which included a compass rose.   Upon the guests arrival to their hotel, they were greeted with a Palm Leaf  Tote which included a welcome card from the bride and groom along with recommedations for activites and shopping while on the island, as well as another copy of the weekend’s itinerary.  The goodies inside included a beach towel, suntan lotion, water bottles, local rum and maps of the islands.  For the reception, I created a Table Seating Chart where all of the tables were named after islands of the West Indies.  When the guest arrived at their tables, each guest had a beautiful brass compass as their place card which had their name  and a colored fluer de lis (which indicated to the waitstaff what each guest meal selection was) and a menu card.  A good time was had by everyone! Congratulations Mary and Roger!!
