When I was approached by The da Vinci School in Dallas, Texas to design the invitations to their 2016 Wonderland Gala, I was very honored by the trust placed in me. The da Vinci School is a non-profit organization with a well rounded learning oriented program with emphasis on science that was founded in 1987. The Gala is one of their largest fund raising events that is held every year to provide for various school improvements, equipment, learning materials and to increase the general fund. The theme for the 2016 Gala is “da Vinci in Wonderland”.
With a theme in hand, the design process began. The final invitation is one of my most favorite designs to date. I wish the school well and look forward to a continued relationship in the future.

What a great evening shared with good friends and family at a family farm in Shreveport, Louisiana. The bride pulled off a very lovely outdoor Vintage Chic Farm Wedding in October, complete with a crisp autumn breeze, shrimp po-boys, Zapp’s VooDoo chips, jambalaya with andouille sausage, great beer, wine, cider and dancing until the sun came up. Cheers to Caitlyn and Tyler!!
As a new Envelopments® Dealer, we selected a rustic Heart Sprigs themed invitation and designed it around the colors of the wedding.
It is always an honor when asked to design something special for a child’s birthday party and this one had me bugging out!! Creepy crawlies everywhere for this brother and sister sharing their special days. Who doesn’t remember taking their box or jar outside as a kid and collecting butterflies, bees, caterpillars, ladybugs and the all time favorite lightning bugs. Oh, to be little and carefree!! Enjoy Cooper and Addy, Happy Birthday!!
I was so incredibly excited to create invitations for two very special people. All the excitement leading up to their special day was electrifying. From the Rehearsal Dinner Celebration to the moment Kelly and Cameron said their I Do’s in front of their friends and family, you could feel the love that brought them together. The Princess got her Prince at a lovely castle and it was nothing short of a Grand Ball Reception that followed.
I had so much fun creating the invitation for Black Crow Media Open House 2015. When I decided to integrate the old school boom box as part of the design, I pitched the idea of using a sound module as part of the invitation. The idea was to have all the DJ’s from each station at Black Crow do a shout out and create the illusion of tuning in the radio dial, what the production team at Black Crow produced was short of brilliant! Thank you Black Crow for hearing the pitch as I saw it in my head and for allowing me the freedom to create it.
To kick off 2015, with a grateful and hopeful heart, I sent out self promotion boxes to my current, past and potential new clients. The box included a note of introduction, a “Hello” notecard, a “Thank You” card, a mini Portfolio, Business Cards as well as something “Sweet”. Thank you again to all of my past and current clients for trusting in me to be a part of your special events.

I was completely over the moon when I was asked to design the wedding invitations for this lovely couple from Raleigh, NC – Everything is set for Summer 2015 and waiting for the “I Do’s” in a castle fit for Cinderella and her Prince. It doesn’t hurt that the Groom to be, looks just like another prince we know; and to top it off, he was born in England. The wedding will be in blush pink, metallic beige, gold and ivory. Enjoy this sneak peak at Kelly and Cameron’s engagement photos.
What do you do when your little princess has fallen in love with dinosaurs? Plan her a fabulous 3rd Birthday Party at The Perot Museum of Nature and Science of course. Challenging, yes, but when this special little clients mom requested that I create an invitation to combine her little girls love of Princesses and Dinosaurs, the result was a lovely collaboration of beauty and science.
It is always a great honor when my clients give me complete design control over their invitations, from design concept to completion. Texas has waited 2 years to see these rival teams: Texas A&M vs. University of Arkansas take the field in the Southwest Classic played at Dallas Cowboy Stadium. The invitations are a boxed invitation in black, custom field markers with invitation on top. Inside this clients customers will find two faux “tickets” to join them in their luxury suite. The back of the ticket has both teams 2014 schedules and can be used as a book mark. They will also find two custom team sugar cookies in a field of green “grass”.
