Just off the mainland of Brunswick, Georgia, lies it’s four beautiful barrier islands: St. Simons Island, Sea Island, Little St. Simons Island and Jekyll Island. For me, as a child, these were the magical places we got to wonder and explore during the summers, on our vacations from Atlanta. For Jennifer, this was the magical place that she and James vowed their love and for one another and their commitment to join as husband and wife. Springtime in Georgia is truly one of the most beautiful times of the year, but to be gathered at The King and Prince Beach and Golf Resort for the weekend with family and friends, this is truly an experience.
Jennifer expressed her desire for her Wedding Invitation Suite to speak to the elements of this barrier island: the sand, the water and the palms. Every element used was with purpose: from the blue ink, to the sand colored envelopes and enclosures, to the natural hand tied raffia with the golden palm, to the Coastal Bird stamps used for mailing. Even the map that we used for the invitation envelope liner, with it’s beautiful color and vintage, old world detail, designed by Rich Britnell at GeographicsArt in Auburn, Alabama, answered all of her requests.
I wish Jennifer and James a beautiful, long life together, full of love and adventure.
